Is renters insurance refundable if I move out?
If you cancel your renters insurance after moving out, you can receive a refund for the unused portion of your prepaid premium on a prorated basis. For example, if you paid for a year’s worth of coverage upfront and cancel after six months, you can receive roughly half of your premium back. Be sure to check with Sure to understand their refund policy and to notify them when you’re no longer renting the property.
